Old Market - Phsar Chas
The Old Market is the most popular local market for tourists, locals and expats. It’s in the heart of the tourist centre of Siem Reap located between Pub Street and the Siem Reap River. Many of the stalls on the outside of the market open late into the evening and the whole area is bustling with people from early in the morning to late at night.
Phsar Leu - Upper Market
The full name for this market is Phsar Leu Thom Thmey which means the big new upper market in English. It’s the biggest and busiest market in Siem Reap. You’ll find almost anything you need here including food, snacks, homeware, jewellery, clothes, shoes and many more things. You’ll get an authentic local experience at Phsar Leu.
Phsar Krom
Phsar Krom takes its name from Phnom Krom, the mountain and temple at the Tonle Sap Lake. The market is located a few kilometres from the Old Market. It’s a popular market with locals who live in the area and sells many things. You might not find too many people who can speak English, but you can pick up some real bargains.
